So Jorgeous was born after a long affair with bold colours, rich fabrics and a desire to see neglected, abandoned furniture remembered and loved again. So I bit the bullet and committed to retrain as an upholster and most recently as a curtain maker - and have never looked back. I love what I do, the creative process, and helping bring someone else's vision to life.

My training and experience made me fall in love with traditional and modern upholstery techniques. I’m kind of a therapist, but for furniture. Every piece of furniture has its own history, character and needs, and a relationship to its surroundings and owners. In every commission I do, I pay attention to every detail – the whole story - bringing my skill, ideas, love of colour, and passion to the project in hand.

So venturing into curtain and soft furnishing making was no surprise and was a natural process. It's amazing what you can do with fabrics and how much life and happiness soft furnishings can add to a room. I feel very lucky to be able to offer this range of services that go hand in hand.
